Visit to Grandma

We had a lovely visit to Grandma! We got there safely and enjoy talking for a bit before we all headed to bed. Jalen woke up at 7:30 the next morning and I thought I was going to lose it, but we didn't and we got dressed to go eat with Grandma. Once Grandma got off, we went and decided to look at their shelters for puppies. The first stop we met a puppy and now, you can meet our new family member, Izzy! She's 9 months old and a Springer mix. She resembles Cherish, just a little bit. Afterward, we went and got a pizza and headed home with a sleepy boy who fell asleep at 7:15. Jalen woke up at 7:30 the next morning and it was lovely to sleep because we were worn out. Once Grandma got off, we went down to the waterfront and walked the street to look at boats and shop. Sadly, after that, we had to pack up and head home, but it was a fun, lovely trip that we can't wait to make again!!
