Zoo

Last weekend we took a visit to the zoo since Nicholas had off. We had a great family day. We got the chance to see all of the animals. My highlight was being able to see the Polar Bear. Jalen's favorite animal was the water snake that was trying to climb up the wall of the lemur exhibit. Who would've known! It was quite interesting.

Happy Birthday, Brooklyn!

Yesterday Brooklyn turned 3. It is so hard for me to believe that she is 3 years old. She acts so mature for her age, that I feel like she should be turning 4 or 5, despite me not wanting her to be that old. She's one of the funniest kids I know. She's the only one who will look at you and say 'can you please stop being weird?' as she rolls her eyes. She's the only three year old I know who can swim and spell her name! We're so blessed to have you in our lives Bear. We love you! Happy Birthday!!!

Salah's Birthday Playdate

Salah is turning 4 on next Saturday, but they're heading to the beach, so they had a playdate for Salah yesterday. Everyone swam for about 2 hours and then we had some cake and cupcakes! All the kids had lots of fun playing with each other! Happy Birthday, Salah!!!

Family Beach Trip

We went for our annual beach trip this past week and what a GREAT time we had. The best day was when we went to Bald Head Island and rode a golf cart around all day. The week with everyone made us realize how quiet our house was and how much a blessing each one of the kids is. I look forward to this trip each year and after a week, I was sad to leave.
