This past Sunday we joined Salah and Neriah for Trunk-Or-Treat at Salah's school. It was a great time. They had a cake walk, which Jalen and Salah won, hot dogs, candy, bounce houses, and fall treats! Jalen enjoyed collecting all of the candy and kept wanting to go back. I'm sure he will be hard to peel away from the houses on Thursday!
Late from work, kids screaming, phone ringing, dogs barking, dinner is burning - just another day in paradise and no where else I'd rather be!

Halloween Fun!
For Halloween we headed to Jessica's for dinner and trick-or-treating! Jalen had a blast. Him and Ryan dressed up as Captain Rex. They had the great idea that we all should dress up, so of course we did. It was a fun night and the boys enjoyed getting all of their candy!!

Fall
Jalen and I carved a pumpkin the beginning of this month and it didn't take long for it to rot away! We'd bought two pumpkins that day and we didn't realize this one didn't stand up straight. When we were at Target we found Yoda so we turned the pumpkin into Yoda! This is the 'new' carving way. They have so many of these characters. Funny because Brooklyn had one and so did Ry!
Jalen has been enjoying the cooler weather. We went to the park the other night and he went all the way across the monkey bars! I was so amazed and I think he was too. It is crazy how big he is getting! He talks non-stop. We say he inherited that from his Ki!

Pumpkin Carving -- Take 1
When I got home from work tonight, Jalen had remembered that I said we'd decorate for Halloween tonight. So we went to Trader Joe's and got some pumpkins! We got 2 big ones, 2 little white ones, 2 little orange ones, and two medium white ones. Jalen didn't like getting the guts out too much. He said it was 'slimey' and 'disgusting.' He used a spoon and got as much out as he could. He drew the face and I attempted to carve it out. J'ster J was born! Jalen named his pumpkin and enjoys talking to him.

Better Late Than Never .. Halloween!
I've been lazy with the posts and I'm a little behind...
A couple days before Halloween we carved our pumpkin! Jalen could choose from Scooby Doo, Thomas the Train, or Blue's Clues and he choose Blue's Clues. We did Elmo last year, so we couldn't do him again. He had fun messing with the tools to cut the pumpkin and tossing the "bugs", or seeds, around in the bowl. He did not want to touch it except very quickly! He turned out cute!
Jalen was an Army man for Halloween. He was suppose to be a monkey, but he is scared of masks. He only wanted me to wear it. He liked the banana that came with the outfit, but that was the only thing he liked about it, unless I was wearing it. He looked cute and wore his outfit all day. Thanks KiKi and AJ for the very cute outfits, despite one being not worn! :)

Julia and Emily stopped by and showed off Julia's cute costume! She's such a cutie and I'm a very proud Auntie!!!
