Finally!!

Well, Jalen has been sick now for 2 days and he is miserable. It's so sad to see him the way he is. We went to the doctor yesterday and the poor guy had to go through flu testing, strept testing, having his blood taken, and having to pee in a cup! He was one tough guy! They concluded he has a virus. If his fever, which was 104, doesn't go away by Friday then we have to go back. We'll get back to normal soon!! :-) Lindsay and Dwight got a new doggie we're ready to go visit. Miss Chloe came home yesterday. I'm sure Jalen will be able to keep up with her. She was digging in a pot of dirt when I checked in last. Well, here are the new pictures! Enjoy!!

Eventually, we're going to take these two guys pictures together professionally!

My goal today is to add new pictures!! I've got so many cute ones of Jalen at Marbles and just out in the yard. Also, I have precious ones of my nephew and Jalen together!!!!

Another Tuesday!

- I'm thankful, even though Jalen is sick, I am able to care for him...
- I'm thankful for this beautiful weather we were able to get out in...
- I'm thankful I got to see my cute little nephew today with his little plaid outfit on...
- I'm thankful for being able to finally wash the dirt that has been caked on my car for a year now off...
- I'm thankful Spring is coming and then, summer... I love warm weather!!
- I'm thankful my Dad bought Jalen some new clothes :-)

A Niece Is Coming For Us!

Nicholas' sister Khesia is having a little girl who will be due on July 28, 2009! We're all very excited and we can't wait to finally have a little girl to spoil in the family.

Thankful Tuesday!

It's thankful Tuesday and I'm thankful for...
* a wonderful day with my boys -- more to come on our adventures!!
* the wonderful brownies I am consuming while I'm making Jalen a crayon "J" to hang up -- more to come on that, as well!
* my wonderful sisters who will be watching Jalen tomorrow while I do my practicum hours!
* getting over my cold and Jalen not getting sick (knock on wood)
* my Mom & my Dad
* my healthy, happy life!

It's the sweet simple things in life that are the real ones after all...

I'm a Big Kid Now!

Well, tonight I made one of the saddest transactions, yet. I paid the deposit for Jalen's preschool for this upcoming school year. I got over my fears of sending him and knew that he needed to be around other kids and adults. They never said parents couldn't sit in the parking lot all day until they got out, atleast for the first day. What if he needed me and I was a couple miles away? I actually thought his class was full - until I realized it was the 2 year old class I was looking at, not the three year old! Growing up too fast!!! So, Jalen will be going to "Jalen's school" when Mommy has to go to school. He will just be going Tuesdays and Thursdays! He'll love it.

Today is the day of love. Take the time to tell your family members and friends you love them. Life is sweet, but unfortunately, short. Don't take anything for granted. Don't waste time being mad over something silly. Kiss your kids. Cherish the memories and look forward to the future, but don't forget about the present. Be thankful. Remember the good with the bad. Thank God for everything you have. Most of all, live your life to the fullest.
