Day 4 - Disney Vacation: SeaWorld

We went to SeaWorld again this year. We got to see the dolphin show and the Clyde and Seamore show. The Shamu show was not going on while we were there. The guys came to the conclusion that SeaWorld has the best roller coasters! They have some funny pictures to show it too. The kids really enjoyed feeding the animals. Gavin even fed a stingray a shrimp! After SeaWorld, we scooted over to Downtown Disney for dinner at T-Rex. Dinner was great but when we left, it decided to downpour. Needless to say, garbage bags help, but they do not prevent your feet getting soaked, your hair looking horrible, or provide much heat. They did save the penguins that the guys worked so hard to earn for the kids! (and yes, the penguins made it home safely as carry-ons...got to love their great ideas!)

Disney Vacation - Day 3

After a fun day in Magic Kingdom, we headed to Hollywood Studios for a bit of fun, including fighting Darth Vador! The boys absolutely loved it and that was one of the biggest highlights of the trip for them. This is definitely one of our favorite parks. Jalen even rode Tower of Terror. He's really into the fast and scary rides. It's a good thing Daddy likes them because Mommy does not do them! We ate lunch at the Play n' Dine restaurant with characters from Disney Junior. It was a really good buffet!

f fun.

Disney World 2014 - Day 1 & 2

Our first day included a bright and early flight to Orlando and dinner at Ohana in the Polynesian Resort. It was a great dinner. It was definitely different than a normal Disney dinner. It reminded us of Brasas in Durham with a family style buffet. On the second day we went to Magic Kingdom. Magic Kingdom seems to be everyone's favorite place. Jalen's favorite ride was Space Mountain. He'd ride it all day long if he could. We ended the day with dinner at the Beast's castle. It wasn't until 8:50 at night, so we were the last people to eat and the last people to leave the park. It made Jessica's dream come true! She was like a kid in a candy store. One of the neat things about eating so late is we got to see the parade and watch Tinkerbell fly overhead before the fireworks.
