Sunday Love

Our Sundays are very noisy, constantly moving, full of funny sayings, Zombies running around, people getting shot by Nerf guns, anything but normal, and we love them that way. Sundays are some of the times that I just look back on and smile. Getting my kisses from Ryan when I'm leaving on Sundays makes my week. When Brooklyn comes over and seeing her run behind the boys makes my week. Seeing Jalen with his Grandpa and how they look just alike... whew! What a great start to the week.

Miss Neriah

What a sweet little face who brings so many smiles to our faces! She's so different from Salah and it's so fun to see them grow!! I look forward to all of the firsts and watching Jalen and Salah show her the ropes!!

Basketball with Oma and Opa

Oma and Opa came over the other day to plant some flowers in my flower pots, which was an excellent surprise. Afterwards, they played basketball with Jalen! Oma had a good shot. Salah joined us a bit later. It was a fun time and Jalen was super excited Oma and Opa stopped over to play basketball on his goal he got for Christmas.

Glasses

On Friday, Jalen got his new, blue glasses. We are still getting used to wearing them, but he is improving at school and led the vowel song at school on Friday. His math skills in school are amazing now and his love of school amazes me. He will go to year-round next year. We are waiting to find out our track!

Spring Time!

We are so glad it is spring. We can get back outside and go fishing. Today was our first time going out in 2012 and it was a success. Everyone caught a fish and I even caught a turtle! The boys were happy and we were happy watching them. These are some of the greatest moments. But, as Dad said, you must be a redneck if you go fishin with the boys and then go get a pedicure! I said a uppity redneck!
