Our July 4th!

Rock Climbing

Jalen rock climbed today for the first time! He did amazing. At first he was saying he couldn't do it and after I drilled him to not give up, he took off and was just flying up. I was proud to be able to watch him think his way up to the top. He would find some things that would work and others that wouldn't but eventually he got it!!

Sometimes I just like to go back and remember how little my baby once was!

Trip to Grandma's

Not long ago we took a trip to Grandma's. Jalen had been wanting to get on the boat so bad, so on Sunday we were finally able to. We had a great time going to Shakelford, the Morehead City and Beaufort waterfronts, and just around in the water. Jalen got to fish. I got sunburned. We had a great time and it was wonderful weather. 

These are the days!

We are so amazingly blessed to have such a tight-knit family. I couldn't imagine my life without any of them. They're all my best friends and the people I enjoy spending my time with. 

Ready to be Beach Bound...

..to deliver my wreaths to a store that has said they would sell them in Morehead City! Here's to new adventures...
